A LOT of things have happened since June. I'd actually been pretty ill since Christmas, losing about 10kg and dropping to 38kg overall. After being to the doctors again and again for 6 months I was finally diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and since then I've been learning how to cope and get it under control. So I've had good reason not to blog basically haha!
On a lighter note, I got up to a fair amount of things this Summer, we had a few gyaru meets and such. I met some lovely new gals, honestly everyone in the UK gal comm is so lovely~ We need to think of some new things to do tbh, we always do the same old same old and I think it gets a bit boring, no? Oh and my bby Emi went off to Japan in August... I MISS YOU SO MUCH EMI!!! And Fin left for France/Japan too (we had an otaku sleepover just before she went which was lovely~) Anyway, here's a few pics from over the summer...
I can honestly say I'm blessed to know so many amazing people!
I also went to Hyper Japan in July and me, Emmie and Chriss ended up being interviewed for NHK World's Tokyo Fashion Express! The episode was broadcast in September, but I'm sure if you scour the web you'll be able to find it online.
Look, its us in the top picture haha! Tbh it was actually pretty embarrassing, they filmed us at such a bad angle too! Even to this day, Emmie refuses to watch the episode LOL!
I started uni this September. I'm taking Japanese studies. Although some of my modules are pretty boring... (ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ
I made my uni room pretty cute, so I'll share some pictures of that~
The 'no poster' rule obviously went flying out the window. (〜￣▽￣)〜 Although my room at home is now really bare.
Any keen eyed Shingeki no Kyojin fan would've spotted the Shingeki posters all over my walls, and that brings me to the next thing I wanted to talk about. I recently got back into cosplay over the Summer after having a 4 year absence from it. I'm going to be at London MCM Expo later this month cosplaying as Eren Jaeger, so if you're there come say hi! I've done a few costests as well as messing about on omegle under the snk tags haha...
I'm actually pretty pleased with how it turned out. I feel pretty damn comfortable dressed as a guy too, which is surprising.
As well as being at MCM, I'll be at Kitacon next Spring and possibly a few other cons, so again if you see me, come say hi! I've got a few other cosplays up my sleeves in the near future, including Junko Enoshima from Danganronpa (doesn't she just scream gyaru?) and casual Karuta Roromiya from Inu x Boku SS (which coincidentally I currently typeset for, so go read it!).
That's pretty much it for now, thanks for reading~
